Partner Solutions Engineer
Vercel
About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical lead for Vercel's partner ecosystem: solution and consulting partners, technology partners, and cloud alliances like AWS. You'll take integrations and accelerators from 0 to 1 with partners on Vercel, Next.js, the AI SDK, and Eve, and run the workshops and enablement that get partner teams shipping apps and agents on Vercel. You'll work with Vercel's Partner Managers and with partner engineering, sales, and product teams to grow adoption of Vercel through partners. Expect to travel about 25% of the time. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
What you'll do
- Own technical relationships with partner engineering teams and leadership across consulting, technology, and cloud alliance partners
- Build product integrations, proofs of concept, and reference apps that connect partner products to Vercel's agentic infrastructure and open source tools
- Design and deliver agentic workshops, discovery sessions, and enablement programs with Partner Managers, and write the integration guides and docs behind them
- Support pre-sales on partner-attached opportunities and train Vercel's sales team on joint Vercel and partner solutions
- Present at partner events, hackathons, and conferences, and bring feedback from partner integrations back to Vercel product teams
What you need
- 4+ years as a solutions engineer, solutions architect, or tech lead advising or consulting for engineering teams
- 6+ years building and shipping frontend applications with React or Next.js, and you still write code regularly
- Shipped an AI-powered or agentic application with the Vercel AI SDK or a similar toolkit, and can explain LLM frameworks and agent architectures
- Shipped projects with composable services common in partner-delivered work, such as headless CMS, ecommerce, A/B testing, and personalization
- Worked at or alongside a systems integrator, consulting firm, or technology partner, and know how they staff, deliver, and grow a practice
- Delivered technical content to developers and executives, including training sessions, sales demos, and conference talks
Bonus if you
- Built integrations with Vercel's agentic infrastructure products
- Ran a certification, training, or enablement program for a partner or developer audience at scale
- Worked on cloud marketplace or alliance programs with AWS, Azure, or GCP
